In Winnipeg, we went to the Assiniboine Park and checked out the Leo Mol sculpture garden. Leo Mol is a famous Canadian sculptor. Most of his statues are made out of bronze. Read more about Mol here:

We had our first camping excursion just outside of Regina:

Gnoman thought the Prairie landscape was pretty amazing:

Tuesday, we went to the Alberta Badlands. The lines on the mountains are different layers of rock from centuries and centuries of buildup. Each layer can be traced back to a particular time in history. The funny-looking "hut" type rocks are called Hoodoos. Hoodoos are geological wonders, formed into these amazing shapes by years of erosion. Natives believed they were evil spirits reincarnated and captured in rock form. Spooky.

Drumheller, Alberta is home to the world's largest fake dinosaur:

We also went to the Royal Tyrell Museum - which is the countries foremost dinosaur museum. Lots of fossils have been found in Alberta, there is even a dinosaur named after the province (the Albertosaurus - a smaller version of the T-Rex). This was probably one of the most amazing museums either of us have ever been to:
